Evening/Night:
Dinner: Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant, savouring traditional Gambian specialities such as domoda (peanut stew) or benachin (one-pot rice dish).
Live Music (Optional): Enjoy a night of cultural show featuring traditional drumming (Sabar or Djembe) and dancing at the hotel or in the city.
Day 2: Natural Wonders and Relaxation
Morning:
Breakfast: Early breakfast, then depart for Abuko Nature Reserve.
Abuko Nature Reserve: A prime spot for birdwatching and seeing crocodiles, monkeys, and other wildlife amid lush flora. Immerse yourself in The Gambia's nickname, "The Smiling Coast of Africa," with its welcoming locals and tranquil natural settings.

Journey Back to Base: Depart Lamin and travel back to the accommodation.

Day 3: Cultural & Historical Tour (Juffureh & Kunta Kinteh Island)

Breakfast: Early breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Juffureh & Albreda: Depart Base, heading upriver toward Juffureh. Soak in scenic views of rural Gambia along the way and learn about the region's history from your guide.
Historical Exploration: Arrive in Juffureh, the ancestral village of Kunta Kinteh (famed in Alex Haley's "Roots"). Visit the local museum to learn about the impact of the transatlantic slave trade on this region.
Afternoon:
Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Savour tasting dishes or fresh grilled fish near the riverside.
Kunta Kinteh Island (James Island): Explore the museum on Kunta Kinteh Island and nearby historic sites.

Early Afternoon:
Departure: Transfer to Banjul International Airport for your departure.
